Hypergraph Based Resource Allocation Algorithms for VLC Network With Heterogeneous LEDs and Varied Users

With distinguished advantages over radio frequency communication, visible light communication (VLC) has been considered as one of the potential and promising wireless technologies. However, densely deployed emitting diode (LED) lamps introduce severe inter channel interference (ICI), which drastically deteriorates VLC network performance. In addition, limited access capabilities heterogeneous LED lamps, well different data transmission requirements varied user equipments (UEs), will bring new challenges to in real-life applications. To mitigate ICI improve performance, hypergraph theory is introduced detail. Effective links between UE all its available points (APs) are taken a hyperedge form an amorphous cell for each UE. Considering satisfaction spectrum efficiency service fairness, non-layered resource allocation (RA) algorithm based on carrier aggregation directly overlapped RA cooperative proposed. Numeric results show that proposed algorithms outperform classic Dsatur terms satisfaction, fairness.
